Massage Oils:
Muscle and Mind Relaxation

Earth Day Yoga

Massage oils work not only on tired and tense muscles but when combined with fragrances such as essential oils they can calm and relax the mind as well.

I love having massages but unfortunately I rarely can afford to visit a salon where they have lots of different types of oils and scents. But, this doesn’t really matter anymore as all these items are now available to buy for use at home.

You may be lucky enough have a partner who is happy to give you massages when you need them.  If you don’t you can still give yourself leg and hand massages.

A massage just before bedtime will help you have a good night’s sleep, whereas a massage in the morning will help to invigorate and help you cope with the day ahead.

Spending some time pampering yourself is time well spent. It not only gives you a time out from the stress of your day but it also makes you a feel good.  If you use essential oils too then this will also heighten or calm your senses and this can leave you feeling absolutely fantastic.

Using an oil on the skin has the added benefit of course of keeping your skin soft and looking firmer too, so finding time to have a massage is definitely time well spent.

Our recommended massage oils

I have chosen the following oils for their specific benefits for stress relief and relaxation. They are a blend of various therapeutic essential oils blended into a base of organic jojoba oil.

When applied to the skin, the properties of the oils are easily absorbed into the bloodstream where they are transported to the organs and systems of the body.

Discover some of these fabulous oils for yourself.
