The Full Body Pillow:
Sleep Better,Stress Less

Earth Day Yoga

A full body pillow is, as the name suggest a pillow which is as long as your body allowing you to rest your whole body on it during the night.

It is designed to completely support your body from your head right down to your toes. It fits itself around the shape of your body and eliminates the need for extra pillows.  It can reduce night time tossing and turning.

The pillow helps to keep your body properly aligned while you sleep so that you don’t wake up in the morning with aches and pains from an uncomfortable night's sleep.

Body Pillows and Stress

Among the many benefits, these pillows can play an important role in stress relief.  After all, a body and mind which is fully rested is much better at coping with stress during the day. So, to keep healthy, both body and mine, a good night’s sleep is important every night and not just now and then.

There are many things which can prevent you from achieving a stress relieving restful sleep every night, things such as:

  • Snoring
  • Neck ache
  • Apnea or breathing difficulties
  • Insomnia
  • Arthritis
  • Fibromyalgia

All of which can be alleviated by a full body pillow. It also benefits you by promoting:

  • Good blood circulation
  • Muscle relaxation
  • Comfort for injuries

These pillows are also excellent at helping women get a good night sleep during pregnancy as it provides excellent support for the pregnant tummy and back.

Children need a good night sleep too!

Many children find it hard to settle down at night and go to sleep. This increases the chance of stress the next day for the child as they try to cope with their daily activities.

These full length pillows also help to provide extra comfort and help to calm children down so that sleep is easier to fall asleep.  The U-shaped pillow for example can be a security blanket in a sense as it can make the child feel like they are being held.
